My real name is Jennifer but all my friends call me Jinx.  I am a single mother of  a 9 year old.  I might be older but I can still keep up with all of my daughter’s silliness.
For the past 17 years, I’ve had the fun opportunity to play behind the camera and to get to know my clients.  Now it’s my turn to get behind the mic and let everyone else know more about me.  Once, I captured images, now I hope to capture your ears!
My co-host, John and I met here at IMS.  We felt we had an instant connection in approaching topics in a fun way and decided to try to bring that to a show, just for you!  We hope you enjoy listening and gift us with your feedback.

I’m John Conn, no, that is not a typo. I was born and raised in Joliet, Illinois for 22 years until I moved to my new residence in Burbank (IL). I’m one credit hour away from obtaining my associate’s degree from Moraine Valley Community College, which will be completed in the summer of 2017. My interest for broadcasting stems from my astounding enjoyment for baseball—I love baseball and I hope the sport I follow will someday hire me to broadcast it; in the end, that’s the dream. But, life is about experiencing as much as possible, to learn and improve as a human and give myself the best chance at fulfilling my dreams.
Sports is where most of my attention drives but I do like to talk about life, also. That’s where “Common Grounds” with Jinx and John comes in. It’ll be lighthearted and fun with the intention of bringing smiles and laughs along the way. I’m excited to share my thoughts about stuff that isn’t always derivative of sports.
